Our story
Karen is a first generation daughter of immigrants. For as long as she can remember, she has been the one translating letters at the kitchen table, calling to make appointments, and reading every line of a form out loud so her family understood it before signing.
She watched how much lighter a room feels when someone finally explains a document clearly. She also saw the quiet worry that comes with not knowing who to ask. Aliada was created so that worry has somewhere to go.
Today Aliada brings that same kitchen table warmth to every appointment, with the professionalism, accuracy, and discretion your important paperwork deserves.
Everyone deserves someone they trust beside them during life's important moments.

The Aliada difference
This work is personal. Every appointment is built around how you want to feel when the paperwork is finally done.

When Karen says your documents will be ready, they are ready. You get clear timelines, honest answers, and steady follow through from start to finish.
There are no rushed appointments here. Every question is welcome, and nothing gets signed until you feel completely comfortable with it.
Every conversation, form, and explanation is available in English and Spanish, so language is never the reason something feels confusing.
Your information is handled with care, accuracy, and complete discretion, with the same attention Karen gives her own family.

Founder & Document Ally
Meet your document ally
Hi, I'm Karen, the founder of Aliada. I started Aliada because I know firsthand how overwhelming paperwork can be. As a first-gen immigrant daughter, I've been translating, making appointments, and filling out paperwork since I can remember.
I've seen firsthand the insecurity in our community when it comes to getting these things done. Whether it's applying for a job, enrolling in school, completing important forms, or needing a document notarized, everyone deserves someone they can trust to help guide them through the process.
That's why I created Aliada, because aliada means ally, and that's exactly what I strive to be for every client. At Aliada, I provide professional, bilingual document assistance with patience, care, and attention to detail.
Thank you for being here. I can't wait to serve our community, one document at a time.
Karen
For our neighbors
Behind every form is a real moment: a first job, a new school, a small business finally opening, a family protecting what they have worked for. Those moments should not feel intimidating.
Aliada was built for the neighbors who have been carrying that weight alone, and for anyone who has ever wished for a friendly face on the other side of the table.
When one of us moves forward with confidence, the whole community moves with her.

Good questions
If your question is not here, send a message and Karen will answer it personally.
Yes. Every service is offered fully in English and in Spanish. You can write, call, or meet in whichever language feels most natural, and your documents will be explained the same way.
Karen travels to clients throughout her New Jersey service area, including homes, workplaces, and comfortable public meeting spots. Share your location when you reach out and she will confirm availability and any travel details.
Send a message through the contact form, email, or Instagram with a short description of what you need. Karen replies with available times, a list of what to bring, and confirms everything before your appointment.
Pricing depends on the service, the number of documents, and whether travel is involved. You always receive a clear quote in writing before any work begins, with no surprise charges added later.
Most straightforward requests are completed within one to two business days, and notary appointments can often be scheduled the same week. If your deadline is tight, mention it in your first message and Karen will do her best to accommodate you.
